Se Film Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist en hel film gold streaming movie 123 Runtime 111 Minutes Dette er den oprindelige historie om præsten Merrin - spillet af Max Von Sydow i The Exorcist, nu spillet af Stellan Skarsgård - og hans første møde med selveste Djævelen i Østafrika under en arkæologisk udgravning. Oprindeligt blev Paul Schrader hyret til at skrive og instruere denne fjerde Exorcist-film. Det gjorde han så, men da studiet bag filmen så resultatet, blev han fyret. Man ville have en mere actionfyldt film. Derfor gik man i stedet til den finske instruktør Renny Harlin, der alligevel ikke havde noget at bestille (han sad sikkert og ventede på at få lov til at lave Cut Throat Island 2 eller The Really Deep Blue Sea). Harlin blev simpelthen bedt om at starte forfra. Han skrev manuskriptet om, hyrede nye skuespillere og lavede den film, der blev til Exorcist: The Beginning.
